They stole a lot of patented technology and got away with by using legal loopholes. Well yh the Chinese normally copy US technology, but the smartphone market should be different

Only one that got banned was Huawei because of constantly getting caught doing business espionage and spying on people as well as being caught implementing backdoors in their networking equipment. Which is why their 5G network equipment was banned in EU and USA as well as most of their operations. Google also booted them from using their Gapps services.

Instead of fighting who has the better this or that, they should focus more on making the phone with less bugs. Of course, not talking about Samsung necessarily, but mainly Chinese manufacturers.
I think that is the number one reason why you see a decrease of market share for Chinese companies worldwide. Not to mention, a lot of areas/countries, like Europe or India are having bans or lawsuits against Chinese phone companies. And I do not think this bans/lawsuits are just for show.
In a way, is a good thing, people have realized Samsung is the top Android manufacturer. Even though 2 years ago, Xiaomi fanboys on this site, were predicting no.1 spot for Xiaomi in near future (lol).

This is where clever users starts to loose their interest in phones like this. 200MP is an overkill. Tough on hardware and too much woo doo in post processing. Never.

Sarat, 4 hours agoI will buy s23 ultra if it has flat surface instead of a curved one.Yeah that’s another thing.
Why did they make a curved screen with S-Pen? It’s a nightmare using S-Pen on screen edges because it constantly removes brushes on the edges. Basically 20% of screen surface isn’t usable and you always have to have in mind in the back of your head to avoid the edges, which is bothersome for a 1000$ flagship.
