ColorOS 12 will be released later this month and will be powered by Android 12.

One of the most significant operating system updates is the ColorOS 12 operating system from smartphone maker Oppo, which will be available in the near future. That currently appears to be in the middle to late of September, which means that Google’s stable Android 12 release might be near.

Google initially unveiled the public beta of Android 12 at its annual conference, Google I/O, where it previewed the new look and interface of the operating system. The final Android 12 beta was made available to users last month.

Google’s new Nest Doorbell is a wonderful piece of technology.
iPhone 13 and 14 users have complained about the lack of a zoom lens, and Apple has to do better.
Microsoft may be able to add Android app compatibility to the Xbox.
ColorOS 12 will have a collection of wallpapers from Oppo, which was disclosed in a Weibo post. Oppo also shared a collection of wallpapers that would be included in ColorOS 12. You may download the wallpapers right now, which should be plenty to appease those of you who are unable to wait for the stable release to arrive.

While this is happening, Oppo has also released a short film in which forms and patterns come together to form the ColorOS 12 logo. Perhaps it serves as a preview of the effervescent user interface that is expected to characterize ColorOS 12 – but it could simply be a visually appealing presentation tool. The verdict is still out on this one.

At the moment, there is virtually no information available about the devices that will be supported by the new operating system, nor is there any substantive information on the new features and improvements, so we may have to wait a little longer for them.

In the meanwhile, you may update the look of your phone with some of the aforementioned stylish wallpapers, which you can download right away.
